Scottsdale New Engine 606 & E609 are getting

new Pierce Impel PUCS engines,  Engine 606 will be a Haz Mat Engine

And 609 will be a ARFF Engine for Scottsdale Airport  

a new Impel/PUC Engine for 605 and a Velocity Ladder Tower for Ladder 608 should be coming soon

Last I heard , they are going to move  the Haz Mat back to 606's and the new

Engine is numbered E606 and has Haz Mat decals on it , The Ladder/LT is  suppose to be going to 608's

to be more central located   Also Station 613 is moving to  a new station on SW corner of Jomax & Hayden

Peoria has on order  3 Rosenbauer Commander engines for E192 E193 & E195

old E192 & E193 rigs will go to E196 & 197,  E195 old rig & the ALF's will become spares

From the Flickr page, the engine going to Ladder 602 is lettered as a Ladder Tender.

LT602 has different specs then E601 E602 E603 E604 E605 E606 E609 PUC's

2 more PUC's (E610 LT608)  and a Queen Creek PUC (E413)  to be ordered soon

LT608's will be the same specs & L602 & L608 New Velocity Tower's will be twins

and they are building 3 new replacement station's and land for future station 612 at

Hayden & Mayo area

How new is the white paint job? I went to school in PV in 93-94, during the RMFD days, andmost rigs were lime green. I'm aware Scottsdale has its own FD now, as seen above. But I thought they kept lime green.

Only like 2-3 years old. The 1st new Pierce rigs were lime, now everything is going to be white.
