Posted June 4, 2014 In today's L V REview-Journal: Las Vegas Fire Department gets $6.2 million grant to open new station By JANE ANN MORRISONLAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL The Las Vegas Fire Department received a $6.2 million federal grant to staff and supply Fire Station 108, which is expected to open in August. The Federal Emergency Management Agency grant will pay salaries for two years for the firefighters at the station and pay for a fire engine and ambulance.
