Here's a synopsis: As a moderator of a community your primary responsibility is to facilitate the conversation, participate in conversations that interest you, and to moderate the conversations and to keep a watchful eye out. As a moderator it is important that you always remember that the site you are moderating is only as good as the people that use it. Moderators are seen as people who are there not only to enforce rules but to facilitate the general conversation and to participate openly in the conversation. As a moderator your postings do carry extra weight, it is important that you set the example for which we want our community to adhere to Our moderators are also here to help members use the site software. If you are interested, please email me at seth@emtbravo.com Please include why you want to be a member of our staff, and if you have very good knowledge of the emergency service in Los Angeles, etc. , computer skills, experience moderating or participating in any other online communities or any other things that you would bring to the table.
