Nice pic of the San Diego snorkel and also LAFD had another 50 Snorkel at Station 95 at LAX.
-
LAFD used to have at least 4 50' snorkels and at least 2 50' squirts in the 70's and 80's.
-
Awesome pics and there should at least be 2 or 3 of them to cover each division.
-
They're louder and you can hear them quite a distance.
-
Don't know on the closed Light Force Companies but always hearing rumors especially in relation to reopening Light Forces 17 and 38 ASAP due to a very large number of major emergency fires occurring in their districts recently.
-
Excellent news to hear about Engine 209 and I heard that the next group of companies that will be opening soon will be Engine's 1,20,69,73, and 75.
-
Are there 7 frontline crash rigs now LAX?
-
They definitely did the right thing.
-
I noticed on Code2high.com that L.A. County Station 86 currently has a 2nd. Engine numbered 286, is this a new Engine Company or did Engine 286 previously come from another 2car house such as Engine 264 and I also noticed that there weren't any pictures of Truck 86 on the website. Anyone who knows about the changes to station 86 please fill me in on the info. Thanks

Thanks and saw that it was mentioned in code2high. com.

Now that they're at LAX are the new crash rigs in service yet?
-
Fewer crash rigs as well at Bob Hope Airport in comparison to the amount of crash rigs that Lockheed had at that time.
-
Maybe the paramedics that the CHP has were used on the Greyhound Bus incident in San Jose.
-
Yes there will be additional staff at 80's and it will be interesting to see how much room will be left at 80's with 6 crash rigs and the stairs unit.
-
Are the squads Paramedic Rescue Squads and are they set up in a similar manner just as LA County Squads are set up.
-
2 will be going to Van Nuys and one is suppose to go to 51's from what I heard don't know if this is true and also are all the crash rigs going to be 6 by's including the Rapid intervention vehicle or is the Rapid Intervention Vehicle going to be a 4 by.
-
There isn't any room at 35 due to the task force and 2 RA's and the brush patrol being stationed there.
-
Awesome news to hear of an additional truck company being placed in service by L.A. County Fire Department. How many Truck companies will L.A County have in total?
-
Any word if Station 136 is going to get a heavy rescue similar to the heavy rescue at 103.
-
I think it is a BLS ambulance stationed at 100 since all LAFD BLS ambulances located at fire stations numbered 100 and above are 900 series RA's such as 903 and 904.
-
Station 172 is still closed down I believe
-
I remember when the LAFD used to have amber only beacon lights on their crowns from the 70's as their emergency lights.
-
Clark County should have TDA's for Trucks.
-
Great pic

That would be crazy for an engine to transport patients.
