It will be interesting to see if the 4 engine companies that are set to reopen will be getting these new engines besides the other 4 engines that were reopened in the last few years.
-
Nice pic and I notice that it doesn't have the Los Angeles Fire Department logo on it's doors.
-
Should be restored ASAP.
-
Maybe the only real solution to this is to have Fire Departments provide emergency ambulance transports instead of private ambulances.
-
Awesome looking rig and also San Bernardino City had at least one TDA before the County took them over.
-
One thing for sure I notice is that LAFD is upgrading it's wildland firefighting capabilities with the purchase of their type 3 as well as having OES Type 3's, Water Tenders, Crew 3 Hand Crews, Dozer Teams, Brush Patrols and of course their helicopters.
-
Nice looking rig and fyi I drove by the LAFD shops and saw the Type 3 the other day.
-
Verdugo Fire has a very excellent numbering system which works well for them such as Burbank being in the Teens and Alhambra being in the 70's.
-
Nice looking rig and will be looking out for this rig on Verdugo Strike Teams
-
Is there a Station 64?
-
Maybe the Department is going to put a fifth Haz-Mat team into service
-
129 has a newer Haz-Mat rig that I believe is about close to 10 years old.
-
Reminds me of the ones that LAFD and L.A. County had
-
Finally
-
Looks very European to me.
-
I also heard that LAFD received a brand new Dozer as well.
-
They must have piggybacked with OES
-
This is interesting that LAFD is getting their own type 3 and how many type 3's will LAFD be getting besides the 5 OES type 3's that the department currently has?
-
They would have been very useful at the Castaic incident right now and hopefully they can be delivered and placed in service by October when the Santa Ana's arrive./
-
What ever happened to the wrecker that Long Beach is suppose to get
-
Awesome and I couldn't imagine LAFD Heavy Rescue 3 and LA County Heavy Rescue 103 having a rig this size and now more departments seem to be copying the Heavy Rescue Wrecker concept originated by LAFD.

Rest in Peace brother
-
How many departments assisted Anaheim in batttling this blaze besides Orange County Fire Authority?
-
Nice and I notice that they're going with the Federal Q mechanical siren and is this going to replace their current frontline truck or is this going to be a new truck company.
