  1. Hopefully old Engine 42 becomes a Ready-Reserve 400 series engine.
  2. Long Beach always had a rearmount with a platform and this wll be their second I believe and if this is incorrect please let me know and I notice that there aren't any mechanical sirens on these new trucks

  7. Engine 37 has their new Pierce in service now and I saw it responding on a medical call this morning.

  9. I was watching the news the other day and the reporter was at the Woolsey Fire Command Post and I noticed a brand new tractor-trailer Command Post UnIt that said L.A. County Fire Department Command 2 and was curious to know if all the Command Post Units are going to the tractor-trailer version or is the department still using Command Post Units similar to LAFD, Thank you.

  11. That QRV5 unit is similar to LAFD's gator unit which is used for special events to transport patients to nearby ambulances.

  14. Drove by 92's yesterday and their new Pierce Truck is now in service.
  15. Pasadena Fire Department recently ordered Seagraves as well as Burbank Fire Department.
  16. Santa Fe Springs should get a TDA instead.
  17. Engine's 1, 20, 73, and 75 are back in service after being closed down in 2011 due to budget cuts.
  18. Maybe L.A. County adopted Cal Fire's Mobil Attack Strategy which is very successful.
  19. All the E.I.T positions have been filled from what I heard
  20. Engines 1, 209, 20, 35, 50, 69, 73, 74, 75, 92, 96, and 105 as well as Light Forces 14,17, 28,38, 47, 58, and 72 as well as Battalions 3, and 7 and Squads 48 and 87. Also HazMat Task Force 4 became 21 and Engine 21 became Engine 4.

  22. Will the new Station 39 have a storage bay for reserve apparatus?
  23. Finally a TDA for an Arizona Department
  24. I drove by the LAFD shops yesterday and saw a new Type 3 Engine painted in the LAFD scheme at the shops and it looks awesome and any info on this rig or assignment?
