  1. Only one has been built. Remainder are in process.
  2. Still no TDA's in service. Last TDA delivered has warranty issues and is back at South Coast dealer from what I was told. No sign of the first TDA that was returned to Pierce for repairs.
  3. I hate to burst your bubble joeky48 but Pierce is capable of building crappy apparatus. Cab roofs are not weak and leaking, the trailer decking is weak and water is leaking into the compartments. That is just one of the items on a laundry list of problems with the new trucks. Sad thing is the list of items were brought up to Pierce months ago with very little support to correct them. Now, all six will be going back to Wisconsin for the required repairs. As far as the turntable, that is a Pierce design.
  4. Only one has been delivered to shops. Others are still at Pierce Ontario pending warranty repairs. Lots of warranty issues. I was told that once original warranty items are taken care of, then LAFD will allow for delivery of the others. First truck will be ONE YEAR OLD this December and still not in service. $1,000,000 fire truck already a year old and never been put into service. Tax dollars at work. David Goldstein would have a field day with this. A supervisor at the shops told me that these trucks were ordered in 2014.
  5. Doesn't sound like first truck is going in service anytime soon. Talked to a supervisor at the shops and there is still a long warranty list of items for Pierce to fix. Also sounds like there are issues will compartment doors not sealing properly. They said that this first truck was delivered to south coast back in December. Going on six months now?
  6. No E-One's going to FS 114. Two went to Ontario airport and third one stayed at LAX as a reserve. FS 114 is not getting a third vehicle. There are three vehicles there now until the 1980 RIV is swapped over to the 1997 RIV that they just received from LAX.
  7. Stair 80 is now AF7. Two E-One's with Snozzle went to Ontario Airport. 1500 gallon Oshkosh went to Van Nuys Airport.
  8. There is only one Fast Response Vehicle for LAFD. It will be covering Battalion 1 and 11.
  9. Only one Nurse Practitioner Unit. Will be stationed at FS 64. Will operate 10 hours per day, 4 days a week.
  10. None of the 2015 KME's are in service yet.
  11. Contract is good for 10 years not 5 years.
  12. Not yet.
