    Here's Peoria Fire-Medical's newest pumper, Engine 191
    2020 Rosenbauer (MN) Commander 1500/500/30a
It will be replacing the 2012 Spartan/Rosenbauer.  That rig will likely go to E-196, replacing the last ALF Eagle (also, ex E-191) in front line service (circa 2006 ALF Eagle 1250/500/80a, Phoenix spec).  It is expected that rig will go into reserve (with the three 2010/2011 Spartan/Rosenbauer rigs), putting the circa 2005 ALF out of service permanently.
This will make all front line engines (and all but one reserve engine) Rosenbauer's (5 Commanders, 2 Spartan/Rosies, 1 Freightliner/Rosie, plus 3 Spartan/Rosies in reserve).
Lastly, one more E450/Demers Type III rescue (ambo) just arrived.  It was buried in the shop with pieces hanging out of it, so I didn't ask to have it moved for photos, especially since it looks pretty much identical to the last three.

Maricopa is close to getting a new Pierce Velocity 107’ Ascendant PUC.... BUT it was tabled until they hired a new financial advisor in hopes the contract would be renegotiated for a better price.

I did not speak to any chief buddy or hear rumors to obtain this information. Its a fact straight from public records

Phoenix needs replacement apparatus, replaced stations, new stations/companies,  and about 20 new dispatchers before they can think about a helicopter!.

Yeah lots of changes. I heard L214 might be in an LT and L206 is getting the stick... but haven’t seen it.
MR202 will be housed at Old Station 202 soon, will run out of 201 until then. MR205 is suppose to run out of 206 until renovations at 205 are complete.
    AJ has one TRT, E262.

Oh ok. BV used to have a second Uboat at old FS327 but that rig was sold a few years back.
I want to say U324's SVI is a 96. It originally served as a Heavy Rescue in Michigan City, IN.
Now, when U324's SVI goes down mechanical there is no spare. The 95 Dash will fill that role and the future plan is to send the SVI to be refurbed.
(All rigs are OOS in the pic except the Dodge)

    Opps, I meant the U-boat.

But thanks for the report, I never make it that far west.

E326's current 07 Enforcer has not been refurbished yet. It might be sent for the same refurb that the one currently in Vegas at Firetrucks Unlimited is receiving but the decision has not been finalized. If it is sent to refurb it will be assigned to E328, sending E328's Saber into reserve.
The current situation on the Freightliners is as follows:
    2000 FL80/EOne (formerly E328) is a spare
1999 FL80/EOne (formerly E326) has been removed from service due to frame cracks and mechanical deterioration. It will not return to service at BV.
    1997 FL80/Pierce is still a spare
1997 FL80/Pierce was given an in house refurb and repainted into the black over red scheme. Currently a spare.

1995 Pierce Dash ex Haz Mat rig that's being converted to a Utility truck. It will serve as a backup for the Freightliner/ SVI currently assigned to U324.
E321's rig back from Firetrucks Unlimited and being outfitted with equipment. Should be in service by the end of March

In typical Mesa fashion, they’re back at the drawing board for potential moves slated for March. Should know in February.... not holding my breath.
L201’s truck is done for good. Maintenance made fixes but will not be returning their truck to frontline. A new ladder is being ordered on the 15th.

    Engine 8
Support 8 (bread truck, manned by E8 crew)
    Squad 8
Squad Tender 8 (ST8) - similar concept to LTs but in reality the ST8 is used with the large squad is down.
    Rescue 8 (Ambulance)
    C957S - special operations captain

They used to be referred to F208, F215, and F225.  It got to be a lot and confusing. They wanted to be F1, F2, etc... but PHX already has that. So F21, F22, F23 for Gateway. F28, F29 for Falcon. Oh and AT20 is no more.
    Luke ARFF assets are known regionally as F3611, F3612, F3613 but on base they're F11, F12, F13.
I do believe that if PHX ever puts an ARFF truck at DVT, it will be F36
Boeing (Mesa) ARFF assets aren't apart of the regional system.
    ROCC at work.. LOL

Paramedic Life Support....so these units only have 1 paramedic. To be considered ALS in the valley trucks are supposed to have at least 2 paramedics of the 4 members.
I want to say that it's an NFPA recommendation as well, or at least will be coming up.

    R19- 0900-1900
    R29- 2000-0600

    I think F1 - 2 person, F2 - 2 person, and F3 - 3 person.

    E19- 4 person ALS
    SQ19/AT19 4 person ALS
R19- 2 person PLS I believe this is a peak time unit
    F1- 3 person
    F2- 1 person
    F3- 2 person
Air Stair 19 and Medical Support Unit 19 are staffed by E19 when needed I believe.
    BC19- 2 person
    E29- 4 person ALS
    R29- 2 person PLS
    U29- 1 person

My guess is 9 will lose the ladder and it’ll end up at 17 or 19. 21’s first due has really tight streets. A ladder with no all-steer is trouble.
“If I were the Chief” I’d move 19’s rig (which has extraction) to 17 which gives them the 60. Move L9 to 19. 221 will take almost 50% of 19’s calls so that’ll save the wear and tear on the ladder. See I fixed everything *Gold Star*
